The Kennels
The Kennels have single or double units each with its own covered outside run.
There are 4 separate blocks, which creates a friendly atmosphere; most
Kennels have one huge block with a noisy central corridor. Here when they enter
their own inside area they cannot see any other dog. Overhead heat lamps provide
the warmth when required; each lamp can be switched on separately to allow
complete control over the temperature for each dog. During
the day there is piped music and at bedtime, treats.
All dogs are walked 3 times during the day in our own 11 acre Valley.
Familiarisations
All new dogs regardless of breed are offered a short stay
with us prior to boarding; usually a couple of hours in the morning. There is
no charge for this. We have found this very rewarding for the dogs because when
they come in they have already started bonding with us. Also you have peace of
mind about leaving a cherished member of the family in what would otherwise be
a strange environment.
