Welcome

We are situated in a beautiful countryside setting, just on the outskirts of Sherborne. The kennels and cattery is a small to medium size allowing personal individual attention to the cats and dogs.

We have been running the Kennels and Cattery since 2000; I was previously a British Airways pilot and Sue is a qualified Veterinary nurse with 20 years of experience. The property extends over eleven acres, which offers considerable area of grassed walking space that is fenced. At least three walks a day are on offer to the dogs with off lead exercise taken with the owners’ permission. If they were off lead then it would only be same family dogs allowed out at the same time.
The Cattery is situated well away from the kennels.

Sherborne Valley Kennels & Cattery is licensed under the Boarding Establishments Act & is inspected & advised by the Environmental Health Department of West Dorset District Council.

Our Staff

At Sherborne Valley Kennels and Cattery, there is a high staff/animal ratio. Debi, our manageress has been here 13 years. Our supervisors Suzanne and Kelly have been with us for several years. Our staff are qualified to a minimum of BTEC National Diploma in Animal Care.
We also have numerous part-time staff.
